Gross misconduct: driving while using mobile phone

A truck driver’s argument that he was unfairly dismissed for driving while using a mobile phone was deemed ‘implausible and ridiculous’ by Fair Work Australia, which found that his ‘gross and wilful misconduct’ had endangered himself and other road users.
