ACTU to seek substantial minimum wage increase


The ABC reports that unions are set to launch an aggressive minimum wage push, calling for pay rises of between $30 and $40 a week in the Minimum Wage Case this year. Meanwhile, a Sydney conference — ‘Leading your organisation effectively in 2010’ — will be held in March where one of the themes will be ‘Navigating through Workplace Relations in 2010’.
