Fired for safety misconduct, reinstated by FWA for family’s sake
A worker, who was validly dismissed for misconduct relating to his employer’s safety policies and procedures, has been reinstated by Fair Work Australia, which found that his job loss would have ‘disastrous’ effects on his family’s personal and economic situation.
